Christopher Gold is a recording, mixing, and mastering engineer based in New York City. His work spans studio albums, large scale live recording, and broadcast, with engineering credits on three Grammy Award winning records.
Since 2021, he has served on the engineering team at the renowned Jazz at Lincoln Center, joining veteran engineer Todd Whitelock and Artistic Director Wynton Marsalis. The team is responsible for in house recordings out of the Rose Theater, Appel Room, Dizzy’s Club, and the Varis-Leichtman Studio, broadcasts on the Jazz Live streaming service, and new and archival albums for the organization’s Blue Engine Records.
Previously, Christopher worked at Sound On Sound Studios in Montclair, NJ.
